You don't get to see this in the city, nor will you find this million-star rated accommodation anywhere in the urban area. Of course you won't see exactly like the above processed image, because human eye are not as sensitive as a camera sensor. What you see is some faint trail of the milky way. But the ambience , the fresh air and the serenity is definitely worth the million-star rating.
Gurung (Mount) Berlumut stands 1010 meters above sea level, often visited by Climbers and 4x4 camper. Unlike the hikers and mountain climber basecamp , Berlumut 4x4 basecamp is one of the cleanest campsite in Malaysia although it is frequently visited by many 4x4 camper. It is well kept clean , free of sandfly , mosquito and leeches.
Berlumut 4x4 basecamp is surrounded by average size but tall trees, we don't get to capture a more complete milky way but the trees are definitely a nice fore subject. Lots of beautiful insects for macro shooter, a river and small waterfall is just beside the campsite. Enjoying beer and food at the campfire under the stars , immersing ourselves in the melodic gushing of the waterfall. This place is worth visiting.
