Beadlocks Advantages

Traditional tires and wheels are designed when inflated, the tire pressure will pushes the bead of the tire
against the lip of the wheel. Lowering the pressure of tire will increase its footprint, thus better traction as well as a softer ride off road. However When air down too low , the tire pressure will be insufficient to hold the bead of the tire in place causing it to pop out easily.

The Solutions?

Beadlock Wheel

A beadlock wheel consist of two pieces , a lip-less wheel and a beadlock ring, which works by sandwiching the tire beads held together by bolts. This will prevent the tire from popping out of place.

Internal Beadlock

While external beadlock is a straight forward and easy solution, there are still chances for the inner bead of
the tire to go out of place. Internal beadlock is another type bead retention method, by using Kevlar type
liners to hold the tire bead in place.

External beadlocks are purely for off road use only and the wheel cannot be balanced for road use. Internal
beadlocks are ideal for on and off road usage.
