Selancar 4x4 Offroad

The Toyota Landcruiser FJ80 also known as "Ninja" by the local 4x4 community in Malaysia; is not a favorable offroad vehicle especially in extreme condition. To them, its a big buffalo and when this buffalo got bog down pretty bad, many of them will shy away, avoid giving a little help to this poor buffalo. Can't blame them anyway, because their "Super Powerful" Offroad War Machine can only self rescue.

4x4back2nature Team had been evolving from mostly Short Wheel Based, a few Long Wheel Based(LWB) 4x4 to almost all heavy weight LWB with the Landcruiser 80 Series making up 70% of the Team.  We are not a competitive team but we love camping in the wilderness and overland touring , so a LWB suits us better, more boot capacity means more stuff to enjoy the nature to its fullest. The only drawback is when navigating tightly spaced woods, but its all about finding the right path , more swerving work on the wheel. We are not in a hurry anyway.

Together with TBK Offroad Performance  we build another FJ80 to show its real capabilities to the others. Basic suspension upgrade is done. Engine fuel pump is slightly tuned and using a larger amperage alternator for winching. Drop in the chromoly inners, regearing the axle as well as installing a pair of ARB air lockers. Details spec can be found at TBK Offroad Performance Official Page.  We equipped this FJ80 with a Ramsey 9500 Patriot winch , with a Gigglepin super duty Abright solenoid added on top of the original solenoids. With a dual battery in parallel connection, the Ramsey is a workhorse.
