Schedule at TBK Offroad Performance are tight, so we are preparing the upgrade parts for this 2004 Toyota Hilux first as some parts will take a while to reach us. We will be swapping out the front IFS for a solid axle.
Waited for nearly 3 months for the axle housing to arrived. Customized from Front Range Off-Road Fabrication , for the front we ordered a FJ60 short side and a Hilux long side as the landcruiser short side are slightly longer. Trying to stay close to stock specs as stock length chromoly inners are easier to get off the shelf.
Axle parts are obtain mostly from Trail-Gear Inc, which includes 6 shooter knuckles and steering arms, trunnion bearings, chromoly spindles and hubs, spindle nuts,hub gears, super metal studs as well as the chromoly inners.
Differential stays 8" , with ARB locker and Nitro Gear 5.29 ring and pinion. Project schedule to start right after our current LC40 buggy project.
